50th Anniversary

The anniversary couple! Mom told dad he should wear his "I'm the Boss" shirt.

Pouzar siblings: Dennis, Vikki, Shelly, Jeff, David.

The Pouzar family: front row: Mattie (dog & Mack is down on the grass), Dennis (1st born); his wife, Chris; James, Vikki & Mark's youngest; Kerri. middle row: Mindy, Shelly's friend; Mom & Dad Pouzar; Sharree. back row: Shelly (3rd); Jeff (4th); David (5th); Mark, Vikki's husband; Vikki (2nd); Mark, Vikki & Mark's oldest; Me :)
This was the first time in 11 yrs. that all of us were together at the same time! It was what Jeff's mom wanted for her 50th anniversary celebration, so we all complied! :) Their anniversary is actually March 5th but with school & the weather they thought it would be best to have an early celebration when we asked them. Seeing that they had around 200 inches of snow last year we all thought that was a good idea, since they tend to have unpredictable weather at times (snow storms from October-April)! They are planning a trip down south, weather permitting, when it is closer to their actual anniversary. We all had a very nice afternoon together catching up on each other & enjoying each other's company!

Upper Tahquamenon Falls

Last week we went to Michigan to see Jeff's family & a college friend. We had a wonderful time with everyone, went to the Upper Peninsula, & enjoyed shopping! The trip to the U.P. was a long drive (it's quite desolate & you have a bit of a drive to anywhere) but we had a great time visiting Tahquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point, & the Soo Locks in Sault St. Marie. We did get very wet at the end of our visit at the Falls by a rain shower :), but dried off at the beach at Whitefish Point. We didn't get to see a ship go through the Locks, but it was getting late anyways so we didn't mind.
