I am soooo proud of the weather forecasters/meteorologists! They predicted our snow storm on Wednesday at 8-12 inches, and we ended up with a total of 10 inches. We had no school and Jeff took a personal day, since his work called him and told him not to hurry in. Jeff and Kerri shoveled the first time around, and then everyone helped shovel the driveway again after it drifted over. Of course, I had to make homemade potato soup for lunch & nothing beats hot soup on a cold, wet day! Later on we played Dominoes for a couple of hours together, read books, & caught up on little things that needed to be done. It was nice having an unexpected day together. :)

We are downright jealous!!! :) Wish we could at least get an inch or two!! The pictures look beautiful!! It was upper 50's here today! My daffodils are blooming and the grass is starting to grow! Urghh! No hope of any of that white anytime soon. Oh well, at least we can look at your pictures! lol
Love you all!
Mel
I love it!!!! Like Mel, so jealous. Please send some our way. We'll take any you don't want .Hey really have fun. It doesn't last long.
Looks pretty, but so glad I don't have to shovel snow anymore! It's been quite chilly down here also. Down in the 40's some evenings. BRR! Rod just hates it. Glad you enjoyed an unexpected day off. Would love to have one of those now and then!
Your pictures are beautiful! It reminds me a little of Michigan, with the pine trees loaded with snow. The lodging? The food? Sounds good to me! We'll be over in the next couple of days! (Just kidding!)
Love the pictures. 10 inches!! WOW!!! We are cold here too. Last night it was 30. That's cold for us. Like Betty said, I don't miss shoveling the snow. We love to play Domino's too. Take care.
